Pay for what scales.

Garden has five subscription tiers with a generous envelope of included usage. Above that envelope, you pay published rates for the things that actually scale: payment volume, custody assets-under-care, agent-event throughput, KYC checks, and document delivery.

Twelve creative models

For organizations that don't fit a chart.

We’ve listened to multi-entity holdings, autonomous orgs, marketplaces, and design partners describe how their actual costs work. None of them fit a per-seat SaaS chart. So we built twelve mechanisms that do.

01

Compost

Free cold archival, indefinitely.

After 7 years, ledger entries become read-only and move to Compost — Garden's content-addressed cold archive. Storage is free, forever. We absorb the cost in exchange for keeping a complete history of how money has moved through Garden, which makes our tooling smarter.

02

Bee Pricing

Per-agent metering, not per-seat.

Autonomous orgs are punished by seat-based pricing. Garden meters by the agent identity (OAS DID) and by the action that agent takes. A single human paying a contractor and a 10,000-agent swarm shouldn't be priced the same way — and aren't, here.

03

Pollination Credits

A real referral, not a 30-day trial.

Refer another organization that onboards onto Greenhouse or above, and both orgs receive 90 days of next-tier-up features. The credit applies to the same period in which the referral closes, so there is no awkward delay.

04

Bushels

Pre-purchase usage credits at a discount.

Buy $1,000 of usage as a Bushel for $850. Bushels apply across volume, custody bps, KYC, and document delivery — anything in the usage table. Treasury teams use them to lock in their forecast.

05

Crop Rotation

Move tiers month-to-month with no penalty.

Most SaaS punishes you for resizing — annual lock-ins, downgrade fees, ratchet clauses. Garden lets you upgrade or downgrade at the start of any billing cycle. Estate contracts can include rotation windows for seasonality.

06

Drought Insurance

Lock your effective rate for 18 months.

$99 / mo on Sprout or Greenhouse fixes your blended rate (tier + usage) at the lower of your last six months' average or current published rates, even as upstream costs rise. We rebate the difference if rates fall.

07

Harvest Revenue Share

For marketplaces and platforms.

Marketplaces processing real volume can opt for a fixed bps revenue share instead of tier + usage — typically 5 bps on settled GMV. Predictable for finance, scaled with us.

08

Heritage Lock

Three-year commit grandfather.

Commit to three years on Orchard or Estate and receive a 25% discount, with grandfather rights on every feature your tier currently offers — even if it later moves to a higher tier.

09

Greenhouse Effect

Beta partner pricing.

Customers who agree to be design partners on a new Garden service receive up to 6 months of full pricing relief on that service. They also get a seat at our schema-review table.

10

Co-op Pricing

Holding companies share costs intelligently.

If you operate multi-entity, Garden charges once for shared services — Bean's audit chain, Sage screening, Vine event spine — across the holding tree, with a 30% co-op discount on per-entity overlap.

11

Field Day

On-call human accountants for closes.

Need a Garden-trained CPA on hand for a critical close, transaction, or dispute? Field Day is $99 per seat-day, scheduled or same-day. Closes on weekdays during your subscription are always free of human-time fees.

12

Audit Vault

Your auditors get free read-only access.

Every audit firm engaged with one of your books receives a free read-only Garden seat, scoped to the period being audited. We will not let pricing become the reason your auditor gets a worse copy of your books.
